This manual provides detailed direction on hazard recognition and accident prevention in trenching and shoring, as outlined by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Technical Manual Section V, Chapter 2.

Safety procedures regarding trenching and shoring during excavation is a critical step for both the designer and construction personnel associated with excavation.
