State Approval:
The Texas Board of Professional Engineers does not pre-approve providers or specific courses. Course selection is determined by the engineer; however, they must meet the requirements of the Texas Board of PE.
Course Objective:
At a minimum one (1) PDH must be earned in professional ethics. Remaining PDH's must have an underlying objective to expand the skills and knowledge relevant to the licensee’s chosen field of practice.
PDH / CE Carryover
A maximum of 14 PDH may be carried forward into the next renewal period.
Online Courses:
Accepted. No limit on number of PDH that can be achieved through online continuing education.
