State Approval:
The South Carolina Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Surveyors does not pre-approve providers or specific courses. Course selection is determined by the engineer; however, course selection must meet the requirements of the South Carolina Board of PE.
Course Objective:
PDH can be technical, ethical, or managerial content based; however, the Board states that the courses must have "clear purpose and objective which will maintain, improve or expand the skills and knowledge relevant to the licensee's field of practice."
PDH / CE Carryover
A maximum of 15 PDH may be carried forward into the next renewal period
Online Courses:
Accepted. No limit on number of PDH that can be achieved through online continuing education.
