State Approval:
The Ohio Board of Professional Engineers and Surveyors does not pre-approve providers or specific courses. Course selection is determined by the engineer; however, course selection must meet the requirements of the Ohio’s Board of Professional Engineers.
Course Objective:
CPD can be technical, ethical, managerial or engineering content based; however, they must possess an underlying objective to expand the skills and knowledge relevant to the licensee’s chosen field of practice.
PDH / CE Carryover
A Maximum of 15 CPD may be carried forward into the next renewal period.
Online Courses:
Accepted. No limit on number of CPD that can be achieved through online continuing education.
