PDH / CE Hours Required:

30 PDH hours biennially
|
|
Renewal deadline:
|
1st day of the month following the month in which the Licensee was born, Biennially.
|
|
State Approval:
|
The Idaho Board of Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors does not pre-approve providers or specific courses.
Course selection is determined by the engineer; however, course selection must meet the requirements of the Idaho Board of PE and PLS. The Board also has the final authority to judge the PDH value of all activities submitted to fulfill continuing professional development requirement.

Course Objective:
|
Any qualifying action with a clear purpose and objective which will maintain, improve, or expand the skills and knowledge relevant to the licensee’s field of practice or practices.
|
|
PDH / CE Carryover:
|
A maximum of 30 PDH may be carried forward into the next renewal period.
|
|
Online Courses:
|
Accepted. No limit on number of PDH that can be achieved through online continuing education; however, PDH's must be achieved thru two (2) of more sources as defined by the Board.
